Virginia's List Reviewing Field of Women Candidates

By now, you’ve heard about all the Democratic women running for the House of Delegates and statewide office in Virginia in 2017. Virginia’s List looks forward to endorsing and supporting many of these women in the coming months. Before we do that, though, candidates are asked to fill out a survey describing their positions, and we’ll carefully evaluate each candidate to ensure she supports our priorities.

We want a Virginia where:

A woman makes decisions about her body without interference from politicians
Every Virginian has access to high-quality, affordable health care
Women’s rights are guaranteed through passage of the Equal Rights Amendment
Job discrimination is prohibited on the basis of gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, ability, or marital status
Everyone is paid equally for equal work, and paid sick leave and paid family leave are legislative priorities
