Virginia's List 2023 Primary Election Endorsements
Virginia's List is proud to endorse Lashrecse Aird for District 13 in the Virginia Senate!
Lashrecse represented Virginia's 63rd District in the House of Delegates for six years, starting when she was the youngest woman to serve in the House in 2016. During that time, she championed the issues that mattered most to her district, including quality education, jobs, and healthcare. What's more, she was a fierce advocate for abortion rights for all Virginians.
Now, Lashrecse is running to represent Virginia's 13th Senate District. Thanks to redistricting, she faces a primary battle against incumbent Senator Joe Morrissey. His voting record has made it clear that he is anti-choice.
If elected, Lashrecse will be a crucial vote for the issues that matter most to us, including abortion rights. We need to make sure she wins in 2023, which is why she's our first endorsement for this cycle.
Delegate Lashrecse Aird, Candidate for SD-13.
