What We Offer Endorsed Candidates
Often Democratic women running for office at the state and local level are left to figure out how to put together a winning campaign alone. The results: Women raise less money, get less training, and face harassment without support.

Mentorship & Community
We connect you with experienced elected women who've been where you are. Quarterly convenings with other candidates—a community of women who get it.
Why This Matters
Women's representation changes outcomes. Research across 183 countries shows that when women hold elected office, maternal mortality decreases, policy priorities shift, and communities thrive—not because of specific bills, but because women leaders identify with risks and prioritize issues that male-dominated bodies overlook.
But 70% of races go uncontested in the United States. Democrats and progressives focus on federal races while Republicans dominate at building local candidate pipelines.
Virginia's List is changing that. We're the only organization in Virginia providing endorsements, financial support, and campaign assistance to pro-choice Democratic women running for local and state offices.
How to Get Started
The process is simple. We want to know you, understand your vision, and determine how we can best support your campaign.
